Visual design is going well, I am trying to keep on top of drawing tasks for each week. This week was the Archway two point perspective drawings, which I thought I understood quite well. The Digital painting lesson this week has been interesting too, it has made me think about the colours I use in concept art, complementary colours, colour wheels etc. I am also excited about up coming projects including the village character, which I have already thought of ideas and how to research.

The first few weeks of game production is just getting the basics, which I already know. This week I unfortunately miss placed my coach ticket, so ended up missing Tuesdays game production lesson. I will make sure this will not happen again.
This week Critical studies lessons are becoming more interesting. The lecture about Character design and what makes a good character was really helpful. I understand more about the design process involved in creating a character and important rules you apply, such as if the character is believable, has an interesting silhouette, readability and is it fir for purpose. It was also announced this week that it is, presentation time! We were given a presentation template to talk about our favourite character and what makes them a good character design. The presentation is broken down into 10 slides, each 18 seconds long making it 3 minutes in total. I do not feel too worried, if I prepare well enough, then I should be fine and I have already starting planning my slides.
